LOCATION
Puerto Vallarta is located to the west of the state of Jalisco. It limits to the north with the state of Nayarit, to the south with the municipality of Cabo Corrientes and Talpa de Allende; to the east with San Sebastián and Mascota and to the west with the Pacific Ocean.
Its territorial extension is 1,300.67 square kilometers.


WEATHER
The climate is semi-tropical and humid, the maximum temperature is 32 ° C. in the summer and the minimum of 19 ° C. in the winter; the annual average is 25 ° C. The rainy season runs from mid-June to the end of September, continuing with isolated rains until mid-October; it has an average annual rainfall of 1,417 millimeters. Surrounded by the majestic Sierra Madre mountains that are the natural protective barrier against hurricanes.
